Vigna Serrone is our oldest and most extensive vineyard. The soil, mainly clayey and calcareous, gives the wines produced in this area great intensity and structure.
Here, there are ancient vines of Greco di Tufo and Coda di Volpe bred with the ancient system of the “Avellinese tent”, which together contribute to the pleasant softness and roundness of the Cru of Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vigna Serrone” produced by this plot.
A small part of the Vigna Serrone is destined for the production of our Irpinia Aglianico DOC, produced from ancient Aglianico plants grown with the spurred cordon system.
